Zarasai District Municipality (Lithuania) is looking for a possibility to join or to become a partner in town-twinning projects and youth activity programmes. Zarasai municipality has 7500 inhabitants. In 2008 the town was awarded not only the honourable name of the first Lithuanian capital of culture but also a status of a resort territory. Each year Zarasai hosts various traditional and contemporary art festivals and cultural events.
Municipality is interested in collaboration through activities (seminars, meetings, workshops) aiming at the exchange of experiences on a variety of issues in the field of culture and tourism.
