Working title of the project
Public dialogue and e-government
Outline of the project idea
The aim of the project is to give citizens the opportunity to interact and participate actively in their and in other community’s life. It will help to develop the sense of European identity. Within this programme you can easily build a relation with local communities, exchange experiences, opinions and values, to learn from history and about common values and culture. A network of twinned town’s means for us a thematic and long-lasting cooperation between towns.
In order to achieve these goals, we want to develop the public dialogue from the part of local governments, to provide more opportunities for citizens to discuss with representatives of the local government. We will organize frequent personal meetings. We would like to develop digital methods and availability of technologies in order to create a better communication channel with citizens, which is more accessible, more open towards of society. We would like to develop the e-administration system to make easier to solve problems, to get direct feedbacks from citizens, to develop the e-services of the municipality and we would like to enhance the ability of staff to manage social media – to communicate and reach better, above all, youth. All of that within the framework of twin town network, because we could be more effective if we will develop our strategies and plan what we have to do to reach our goals together. We should strengthen the European identity in peoples mind to foster cooperating and mutual understanding between communities and citizens.
Developing the communicational and technological tools, we could strengthen the dialogue between cultures and it will make easier to reach the youth target group also.
