Description of the project
Action, Measure in the framework of „Europe for Citizens” Programme: Europe for Citizens, Action 1 – Active citizens for Europe, Measure 1.2 – Network of twinned towns
Timetable of the project: Deadline for the partners – 15th August 2011, Application to European Commission – 1st September 2011
Short description of the project, including its aims: We would like to invite you to participation in the common project “Partnership Around the Oak”. There are at least one hundred cities and towns whose name originates from the oak or oak elements in their coats of arms in Europe. D¹browa Górnicza started an implementation of all the project including the submission of an application. Project will create a networking which will be a main pillar for future initiatives and a long-standing cooperation of “oaks cities” in other common projects. There will be at last three seminars in different countries. One of the result of our program will be a special website with new, innovate solutions in the partners cities.
Role of the partner organisation in the project: Your role at this project is to take active part in joint meetings, workshops and conferences according to the date indicated in the project. All the costs of transport and accommodation will be covered by the project funding.
