 Village from Slovakia looking for partner for EFC project |

Dear Sir/Madam
We are small Slovak village with 720 citizens, located near a county town Nitra. We are looking for a partner village in your country that would be willing to co-operate with us in an upcoming project within the Europe for citizens’ programme and would also become our partner village in long-term co-operation in range of different areas.
Our village Stitare has chequered history and cultural past and it is located in a scenic nature of foothills. Numerous Hungarian community maintains rich cultural traditions.
As a part of the Europe for citizens programme we are preparing a project within Action 1. Active Citizens for Europe, Measure 1.1 Town twinning citizens' meetings, witch has deadline 1.st. September 2012 and later on. We would like to organize a meeting of citizens from four to five partner villages in summer 2013. During this meeting we would like to focus on social topics such as active aging, dialogue between generations and volunteering activities. We are preparing some cultural and sport events during the meeting.
We are looking forward the co-operation and friendship.
