Regione Lombardia Directorate for Youth and Sport is planning to submit a project application within the next Youth in Action call for proposals for the Action 4.6 - Partnerships. The project, called SIMULCAMPUS and lasting 18 months, aims to support the development, promotion and dissemination of educational projects based on innovative, non-formal learning methodologies.
Planned activities are a website dedicated to the repository of initiatives, a transnational training area for the development of an online virtual travel agency, the development of a methodology for the definition of indicators and a transnational workshop. Between the outputs of the project there will be the creation of a network of public organizations and NGOs for innovation in non-formal youth training and the creation of a training program aimed at the tourism sector which will increase the sense of belonging of young people to their own country and Europe, interculturalism, the acquisition of skills and expertise valuable in the European labour market.
