The project E.A.M. Explanation and Arguments Mode aims to support NGOs in developing its
capacities via trans-national mobility and mentoring. The project provides opportunities and tools for
NGOs to stimulate interaction and participation of citizens on creating democratic and open-minded
society through supporting active citizenship and involvement of citizens in expressing opinion on public
issues in public.
The project will via the set of on-line and on-site trainings offer to participating NGO workers a tool to
reflex and evaluate their work, to share experience in one-to-one mentoring and to develop transnational
mentoring couples between civil society workers. The training is suited for NGO workers and
volunteers in order to provide them with a theoretical input, follow-up training, practice (happenings to
be organized by them) and a guided mutual feedback (mentoring). Topics dealt with at workshops will
thematically vary according to each country and participants. The project introduces an educational
module for NGOs that will enable them to improve their PR activites and other activities that are
supposed to inform the general public about civil society issues and encourage them to participate
actively on constructing a tighter-knit society. The project outputs consist of a website (CZ/EN), a series
of expert workshops (aimed for NGO workers, their associates and volunteers), mentoring training,
practice (i.e. series of public happenings) and a Manual (CZ/EN version to be used both on-site and
on-line). The project will foster both the one to one mentoring and a group mentoring concept to be
further developed amang the civil society workers. Practical part (series of happenings) represent the
innovative aspect of the project.
