 Spanish organization looking for partners (Measure 2.1) |

FUNDACIÓN INSULA BARATARIA, a non for profit organization is looking for partners for the following proposal description (Action 1, Measure 2.1 Citizens' projects).
Duration: 12 month
Starting month: January 2011.
Objectives and purpose of the proposal:
Keeping the global objective of the Europe for Citizens program, which is to promote the active citizenship, this proposal aims to establish mechanism to involved local development agencies and similar organizations in several EU member states and candidate countries, for the debate around defined topics and influence the future definition of local development policies for the EU institutions.
The following actions, better defined in further step, will be implemented to accomplish this objective:
- Identification of Local Development Agencies representatives
- Report the impact of EU policies at local scale.
- Constitutions of X international round tables in X partner countries composed by Local Agencies representatives and with the participation of EU institutions representatives.
- Report the result of these round tables
- Transfer results into local communities and EU institutions.
- Influence EU institution for further actions (post 2013).

- Active European Citizenship
- People’s wellbeing in Europe: employment, social cohesion and sustainable development.
- Impact of EU policies in society
Partners required:
Local development agencies or similar bodies actives at local level.
